Victorian gothic necklace, Choker-length necklace, Silver and black chainmaille jewelry, Byzantine weave, Victorian-inspired jewelry

I hand-wove this Victorian gothic necklace, one ring at a time, using the Byzantine weave. I used thin (20-gauge) rings to create this weave, which makes the chain very fine, delicate, and lightweight!

Hanging from the chain of this Victorian gothic necklace is a silver-colored pendant that is intricately carved with scrollwork and has a blackened finish on its concave back side. I hung a large black oval-shaped glass bead from the bottom of the pendant.

The chain is made from aluminum rings. The pendant is a found object so I am not certain what metal it is made of.

This Victorian gothic necklace is choker length, measuring about 16 1/2" including its lobster claw clasp. If you need a longer length, I can add an extender chain for no additional charge; just let me know when ordering! The pendant measures a little over 1/2" wide at its widest point. The pendant and bead together measure about 2" long, and the chain itself is about 1/4" in diameter.
